Strengthening Classes

 

Most of us live lives which are more sedentary than is good for us.  Many of us have noticed, over the years, a loss of strength accompanying our loss of  flexibility.  This class is primarily intended to rebuild that strength.  This class is Judithís variations of postures practiced in the Bikramís / hot room yoga.  Except we do them in a normal temperature room.  Her variations, based on her training in yoga therapy and body work, are both safe and effective for young and old alike.  In this class we move slowly enough to be safe for senior citizens yet challenging enough for younger folks wanting to maintain their strength.  And itís fun.
